Qualified inks

Nowadays, more and more corrugated boxes are being used in package of food, drink, toy, wear and electronic. To protect the health of human and environment , more and more countries, USA, Europe and in AISA, have made legislative standard to strict limit the raw materials in boxes processing, such as for paper substrate, printing inks, glue, steel wire, plate and related device etc.

Water based ink is a key factor in boxes printing. Well and qualified water based ink should be complied with:

1.       Heavy metal content (pb, cd, Hg, Cr6 +) total content  ≤ 12ppm, in which cd content ≤ 5ppm.

2.       Free of Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and related chemicals

3.       can not be used the Azo dye 

Normally, boxes users require SGS certificate for ink testing.
